Who could have thought?! I never owned any type of chevron, or striped sweaters. And then cleaning out my closet the other day, Mr. UC goes "That's a cool sweater." I didn't realize how awesome it was! Yes, I paired it simply with jeans, and I am sure I can dress it up, but okay, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone here- it's color! It's blue! That was one of my goals for 2013! Wait til Monday, I'm totally stepping out of my comfort zone and wearing dress pants to work.....
And stepping out of my comfort zone- I also didn't really dig the whole "diamond-esque" way the stripes of the sweater are headed...but again, comfort zone....
Enjoy!
See? Kind of Chevron-esque. I think this is as close as I will get....for now... remember, slow and steady pace wins the race!
Jeans: DKNY (here)
Tee: Gap (love this)
TGIF! What a week! So much for not eating fried foods. Looks like my New Year's hangover didn't help with that. Cheers to my new years resolutions starting today! So what if I am 4 days late?!
Happy Friday. Laugh all weekend!
And since it's Friday, I'm linking up!
